Meridian Consulting Engineers was first started in 1999 in Milton, Delaware by our founder Darin 

A. Lockwood, P.E.  The company was responsible for designing and building many of the current residential and commercial projects throughout the lower Delmarva Peninsula and the beaches of Sussex County, Delaware such as Canal Corkran, Summerlyn Apartments, Rehoboth Grand Townhouses and the wildly popular Jungle Jim's Water Park. The company continued to design and develop townhomes, apartments and subdivisions through the 2000s as well as many commercial projects including banks, fast-food establishments, shopping outlets and the Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton, Delaware. Through Meridian's sister companies, our President, Darin A. Lockwood P.E., was the Engineer of Record on many large projects around Central Florida including the Brightline Railway and the new C Terminal for the Orlando International Airport. He is also responsible for many residential communities and is the Engineer of Record for over 40 Orange County Public Schools facilities.
